1. Data Subject Rights
You are entitled to the following statutory data subject rights, provided that the prerequisites are met:
• The right to revoke at any time pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR any consent given to us pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. This has the consequence that in the future we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent.
• The right to information about your data stored by us pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR.
• The right to rectify inaccurate data pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR.
• The right to the erasure of the data stored by us pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR.
• The right to restrict the processing of data stored by us pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR.
• The right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR.
• The right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.
• The right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes provisions of the GDPR. The competent authority for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.)
2. Right to Object on a Case-by-Case Basis
If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation.
If you wish to exercise your right to object, an e-mail or other form-free communication to the responsible body is sufficient. You will find the contact details at the beginning of this document.
If you lodge an objection, your personal data will no longer be processed by us unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms.
3. Data Processing on our Website
When you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores each access in a log file. The following data is collected and stored until automated deletion:
• The IP address of the requesting computer.
• The date and time of the access.
• The name and URL of the retrieved file.
• The data volume transferred.
• The message whether the retrieval was successful.
• The recognition data of the browser and operating system used.
These data are processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (connection establishment), system security, technical administration, network infrastructure and optimisation of the Internet offering. We cannot assign these data to specific persons. These data are not merged with other data sources. These data are also deleted after a statistical evaluation.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.
4. Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data
During data processing, your interests that merit protection are always taken into account in accordance with the statutory provisions. Personal data are only collected if you voluntarily provide them to us in the context of contacting us (such as your name, e-mail address or postal address). We use these data you provide without your separate consent exclusively for answering your questions.
The legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR.
5. Use of Cookies on our Website
In order to make your visit to our website more convenient, to enable the use of certain functions and for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. These are stored when you visit our website. A distinction is made between session cookies and persistent cookies. The former are deleted after closing the browser, that is, after the end of the website visit, the latter, that is, persistent cookies, remain stored for recognition purposes.
A so-called cookie consent banner allows you to select which cookies may be set when you visit our site. Technical cookies are necessary for the operation of the website. Analysis cookies collect data on usage and functionality. Advertising cookies are used to deliver advertising tailored to individual interests.
There is also the option to completely exclude the acceptance of cookies. However, please note that the functionality of the website may be limited without cookies. The help menus of the respective browsers explain how you can change the cookie settings.

The legal basis for the processing of cookies is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR or a legitimate interest on our part pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We only apply a legitimate interest if the cookies are necessary for the functionality of the homepage.
6. Matomo (formerly "Piwik")
Our website uses "Matomo" (formerly "Piwik"), a web analytics service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand. Matomo stores cookies on your terminal device which enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information collected in this way, namely the following data, is stored exclusively on our server:
• Two bytes of the IP address of the calling system of the user.
• The website called up.
• The website from which the user accessed the website called up (referrer).
• The sub-pages that are visited from the called-up website.
• The length of stay on the website.
• The frequency with which the website is accessed.
Our website uses Matomo with the setting "anonymize visitors' IP addresses". This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, thus excluding the possibility of direct personal references. The software is set so that the IP addresses are not stored completely, but 2 bytes of the IP address are masked (for example, 192.168.xxx.xxx). In this way, it is no longer possible to assign the shortened IP address to the calling computer. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Matomo is not merged with other data collected by us.
We use Matomo to analyse the use of our website and to be able to continuously improve our functions and offers.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR or § 15 para. 3 TMG (German Telemedia Act). We require your consent for the use of Matomo, which we obtain via our consent banner.
7. Use of the Online Contact Form
When you use the online contact form, we collect personal data (such as your name and e-mail address) only to the extent they are provided by you. The mandatory details are marked with an *. We only use your e-mail address to process your enquiry. We store your data as long as this is necessary for the processing of your enquiry and / or insofar as statutory retention obligations prevent the deletion of your data.
8. Processing of Orders
We use customer data provided to us in connection with an order or enquiry for the purpose of processing the contract or dealing with your enquiry. We cannot process your order without this information.

9. YouTube
We have set up a YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/channel/UC7q9qwKGn1SiTRg0ftwQvwA to inform our customers and interested parties about our company and our products. We also show instructions as videos there.
YouTube is a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When you visit YouTube, personal data is processed with YouTube as the controller within the meaning of the GDPR, even if you are not logged in with a YouTube account. Among other things, your IP address and possibly other information that is available in the form of cookies on your PC is collected. We do not know which user data YouTube or Google processes in detail.
Due to this, we refer to YouTube's privacy policy, which is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We, as the owner of the channel, receive statistical information for the analysis of success. However, this does not result in a personal reference. Nevertheless, your public profile is visible to us if you have subscribed to our channel. What we see depends on your profile settings. Your profile will no longer appear in the list of subscribers if you end your subscription, that is, if you stop following us. Should you interact with us via our YouTube channel (for example, by commenting), we will process your personal data, that is, your name, messages, requests or other contributions.
The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.
10. On-apply
For online applications, we use the "onapply" application platform of On-apply GmbH, Schumannstraße 27, 60325 Frankfurt am Main Germany. This is an application management software. The aim is to optimize our recruitment processes.
The legal basis for this is additionally Article 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, that is, your consent.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with On-apply GmbH. On-apply uses your data exclusively for your application with us. Any own use by the data processor is excluded. Passing on of data does not take place.

If your application is not accepted, we will delete your data as soon as it is no longer required.
