WAFIOS Umformtechnik GmbH was Awarded EU Accreditation as Authorized Economic Operator Full (AEOF) on May 23, 2012

The auditing authority was the Main Customs Office in Düsseldorf, Germany. WAFIOS Umformtechnik GmbH was awarded the highest possible status “AEOF” for an unlimited period of time in all member states of the European Union as reward for introducing customs simplifications and safety measures.

This means that the protection of data, process safety, solvency and quality standards of WAFIOS Umformtechnik meet the highest requirements of the EU and are guaranteed to all partners - whether customers or suppliers - within the international exchange of goods. This accreditation allows WAFIOS Umformtechnik a more efficient handling of deliveries of goods and services to so-called third countries as well as a faster procurement of goods from third countries. This is due to an improved cooperation with customs authorities, standardized and simplified procedures in the electronic pre-departure or pre-arrival information of goods as well as reduced and shortened customs inspections.

With this accreditation, WAFIOS Umformtechnik is able to formally back up it’s claim of being safe from manipulation in it’s entire supply chain, of continuously documenting incoming and outgoing goods, of following all legal obligations and safety standards as well as of being a reliable and solvent business partner.
